Zen Studios’ Marvel Pinball title is getting Strange this December.
The greatest powers of the occult, both from our own world and the darkest dimensions in existence, are combining their forces to take over Earth. And only one man can stop them – Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme! With the help of the beautiful Clea and his faithful servant Wong, the Master of the Mystic Arts faces his greatest challenge ever in Doctor Strange pinball, the newest addition to the Marvel Pinball library.
All of the Marvel tables are loaded with extras and enemies/allies of the character that they’re based upon, but Dr.Strange take things to a whole ‘nother level. Not only does the table have Strange and his apprentice Wong, but it also has Nightmare, Baron Mordo, Shuma-Gorath and Dormammu himself. It’s kind of like a who’s-who of Dr.Strange lore.
That’s no mistake either as the first two issues of Dr.Strange, Sorcerer Supreme from way back in 1988 were the inspiration for the table. Several lines are actually taken right from the books and used here as spoken dialog- and of course Strange has is famous Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth line too. Wouldn’t be the good Doctor if he didn’t.
Look for the Dr.Strange table to hit Marvel Pinball this December for Xbox 360, Steam, PS3, iOS, Google Play, Windows 8, OSX, Kindle Fire and the Wii U’s eShop.
