The Elder Scrolls series goes massively multiplayer for next-gen consoles and the PC.
One of the most hotly anticipated MMO’s in recent years, Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls Online looks like everything you’d expect a massively multiplayer trip through Tamriel to be.
Keeping the ‘realistic’ bent that the single player Elder Scrolls RPG’s have, TESO has none of the cartoony elements that MMO’s like World of Warcraft have made a name with. The landscapes and the castle sets also have a really nice and highly detailed look to them- that’s something else that MMO’s usually don’t have.
From the early looks of it anyway, The Elder Scrolls Online definitely isn’t your father’s MMORPG. We’ll have plenty more on the Elder Scrolls first quest into the dangerous lands of the MMO as we approach the Spring 2014 release date. Expect to see Tamriel in all its glory on the Xbox One, PS4, PC and Mac.
