Game/Life gives a first look at the Xbox One

Wired’s Game/Life feature gives us a closer look at Microsoft’s new Xbox with a trio of videos.

The Xbox One has been more than a little roughly received thanks to Microsoft not having shown off any actual games at the presentation. Well, not really anyway… technically they did show some of EA’s upcoming sports titles, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Quantum Break from Remedy, but you know what I mean.

As for the console itself, there’s a good deal of neat stuff going on with the One, but no amount of cool periphery will please gamers who now have to wait until E3 to see what they’ll actually be buying the Xbox One for – that being the games. In any event, Wired’s videos above offer a real good look at what we know so far about the design, TV connectivity, and Kinect integration of the Xbox One. Think of it as a primer for the good stuff and try to keep in mind as you watch, this is a gaming machine.

As for the console itself, the Xbox One is expected to be on store shelves this Holiday season to go head to head with Sony’s upcoming PS4
