Preview: Harbinger Wars #2

Bloodshot gets an unexpected upgrade to take on Harbinger’s Toyo Harada as Vegas plays host to a super-powered throw down.

After decades of secret conflict, Toyo Harada has managed in one fell swoop to cripple Project Rising Spirit through the masterful manipulation of key players in the Valiant Universe. Now he wants the psiot children Bloodshot rescued from the bowels of a nightmarish PRS facility. Too bad. This rogue band of super-powered escapees have begun to call themselves Generation Zero and they’ve declared a war of their own. First strike: Vegas, baby!

Harbinger Wars is (unless you’ve been living under a rock) Valiant Comics’ big crossover event of 2013 and crosses into both Bloodshot as well as Harbinger for four issues a piece in addition to the fur issue run on Harbinger Wars itself. The first issue of HW set things in motion nicely with Bloodshot and Harada facing each other at the end and issue two looks to be a full-on brawl between the two super-powered nemesis’.
