One of the first games coming to the new OUYA console will be Pingo from 1-Pup Games. Pingo marries poker with puzzle games and adds in dancing penguins for good measure. And if that isn’t a recipe for success, I don’t know what is.
Pingo was actually birthed from the OUYA Create Jam and is a pretty simple to play puzzler, which is key for a good puzzle game. Easy to play and hard to master and all that. With Pingo, players get a play field consisting of a 5×5 ‘card’ grid. The player then places ‘cards’ across the grid to make poker hands horizontally, vertically, or diagonally- like bingo… oh I get it…
Look for Pingo to appear along with the OUYA console very soon.
