The formerly Canadian exclusive lil’ Wii is on the way to the UK.
While some might still be having a tough time explaining the existence of a remodeled Wii at all, it was a bit of a mystery why Nintendo decided to make the red and black mini-console a Canada exclusive item. Personally, I could have understood a Japanese exclusive -they get all kinds of cool gaming stuff that nobody else does- but Canada?
Maybe Nintendo had similar thoughts as the redesigned Wii U progenitor will be making its way to at least one other territory. MCV has published a report today stating that the Wii Mini will be available in the UK in a little less than a month – on March 22nd.
There’s no pricing as of yet, but the console sells for $99 in Canada- so probably around that.
