If you’re a Marvel Comics fan, and you were reading their books in the 90s, then you remember Marvels. It was a true landmark, a beautiful book in every way and a celebration of the Marvel Universe’s history.

The publisher remembers it well, and is set to put on a show for its 25th anniversary. Not only will there be a full lineup of variant covers for the event, but also a special re-release.

Well, kind of two re-releases. Here’s what’s on tap:

  • MARVELS ANNOTATED:In February, don’t miss the MARVELS ANNOTATED series kicking off with never-before-seen commentary from Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross. Read the original MARVELS series with new covers and insight from the creators themselves.

Later in June, 20 artists will come together to pay tribute in a MARVELS 25th anniversary homage variant program across Marvel’s most popular titles.
