Gamescom: Angry Birds Star Wars goes multiplayer

Angry Birds Star Wars is on the horizon for consoles and Activision has just shared a brand new trailer and some screens for the game.

If you’re familiar at all with Angry Birds, then you pretty much know Angry Birds Star Wars already. It’s more of the tried and true Ab gameplay, but with a Star Wars coat of paint and some new mechanics. I’ve played the mobile version and, as someone who’s not really a fan of the original, I had a great time with it just from the Star Wars fanboy angle. Now that I can snag some achievements with it, that just makes it all that much better.

Angry Birds Star Wars will be on the shelves for the Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita and 3DS on October 29th.
