The latest set of skate classics to get a revamp, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is looking awesome as it grinds towards release.
Something old, something new
The franchise that keeps on giving, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is back with another pair of games in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. The upcoming offering is looking slick so far, and the latest trailer is only getting the hype train chugging faster.
Both included titles have gotten the same treatment that the first two games in the series did back in 2020, complete with fresh looks and updated rosters. But this new offering is packing more than that, with a pair of completely new levels, new skaters and more.
Okay, we’re pretty amped to play Pinball. We have to admit, not only does the level look killer, but the giant Tony Hawk looming over the controls is just all kinds of cool. Past that, the above trailer also gave viewers a glimpse of the Movie Studio for the first time, plus visuals of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Michelangelo and all-time skate great Bam Margera in action.
There’s much more that’s been detailed though, as New Game+ mode will ramp up the re-playability factor, HAWK Mode will offer a hide-and-seek experience, and Create-a-Park will let fans build their own levels once again. There’s quite a bit to this new entry in the revived series, and Activision has published a blog for those looking to read up before they skate out. You can find that here.
As for the actual launch, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is on the way for consoles, PC, and Game Pass on July 11th. Speaking of Game Pass, The Foundry demo is still available for all subscribers, though everyone else can play too, if they pre-order. Those who secure their copy early will also get a head start on playing the full game (on July 8th), so there are some nice buffs there, especially if you don’t have Game Pass.
Speaking of pre-ordering too, those who seal up a copy of the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition before launch are in for some in-game DOOM gear too. Check out the above linked blog for info on all of that.
