Played through Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and are still itching for more? Well you’re going to want to check out the upcoming DLC.
The war continues
With millions of players having joined Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2‘s action, it’s fast become one of the biggest games ever to feature the property. Before the game launched last month though, Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive revealed there would be a section of downloadable content rolling out.
Now the first of that is coming along, featuring a new option with Lethal Difficulty plus a fresh PvE operation with Termination. The latter is especially notable, since it’s going to deliver the biggest Tyranid threat yet, the Hierophant Bio-Titan.
And did we mention the Dark Angels? The fan-favorite faction is joining the fight, with Champion, Cosmetic, and Weapon Skin packs.
The first major update, featuring the Termination operation and Lethal Difficulty mode, is coming for free to all players very, very soon. For the rest of this year and throughout 2025, new content will keep coming to Space Marine 2. Free updates include the upcoming Neo-Volkite pistol, and later, new PvE operations, PvP maps and modes, as well as a blood-pumping Horde Mode with just one challenge: survive. Further awesome cosmetics for all your favorite Space Marine chapters are also on the way soon.
A Fan-Favorite Chapter Will Join Their Brothers
Alongside the free updates dropping regularly in the months to come, developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment will soon bring the Season Pass to life with a Dark Angels theme pack. New weapon styles, armor pieces, and color schemes featuring the Unforgiven are coming soon as part of the first Season Pass, expanding the already numerous customization options to unlock in the Battle Barge.

There’s no release date just yet for this first DLC drop for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, but it sounds (and looks) like it might be along sooner than later. Stay tuned whatever the case may be, as we’ll let you know as soon as that info drops.
As for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 itself, the base game is available now for the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
