HONŌ Studio is back with more Wolverine, with an unmasked reveal

One of Wolverine’s standard looks from the X-Men comics, a suited-up but maskless version is on the way from HONŌ Studio.

If you’re a collector, you’ve gotta be impressed with what HONŌ Studio is doing. While we haven’t seen an actual release yet, the action figure company has been revealing a series of pretty fantastic looking pre-orders.

Those include 12″ scale figures that specifically carry the Marvel Comics looks of some of the best-known heroes and villains of all time. And while HONŌ has already announced two versions of Wolverine, there’s another that’s just been revealed.

As you can see here, it’s fairly unique, sporting a maskless head, a look that’s been a pretty standard one for the feral X-Man for ages. The sculpt is looking great too, and even comes with a non-usable mask that hangs from the back of his neck.

HONŌ Studio’s latest release presents the X-Men’s Adamantium-enhanced mutant Wolverine in an unmasked, comic book-inspired action figure.

Expertly capturing Wolverine’s rugged appearance and determined expression, the Wolverine (Unmasked) 1/6 Scale Action Figure by HONŌ Studio is a perfect addition to any Marvel collection. 

Wolverine wears a vibrant yellow and metallic blue costume with his signature striped details. Boasting approximately 28 points of articulation, this highly poseable action figure features silicone-coated arms for a seamless look. Wolverine also comes with interchangeable hands and claws allowing for a range of display options, plus a mask (not worn). Sideshow, who carries HONŌ Studio offerings, has pre-orders open right now for the new figure, which is listed at $175 USD. There’s still a while to go til release, as Wolverine won’t be landing until some time between April and June of 2025.

Still, if you’re into getting one, you might want to hit one of those links above and lock a figure up for yourself sooner than later. Not that it’s a guarantee that this one will, but both previous HONŌ Studio Wolverine figures have sold out (from Sideshow at least).
