If it’s not on your radar, you might want to correct that, because VOIN is looking awesome. It’s in play-testing right now on PC.
Hack, slash, repeat
So here’s a pretty awesome little surprise… it is to us anyway, because you might already be aware of this brutal game. But either way, developer Nikita Sozidar and publisher tinyBuild’s aRPG VOIN is looking flat-out incredible.
Set in a dark fantasy realm, VOIN is being crafted in the first-person perspective and is very much a hack and slash title. Players take up a two-handed blade and assault a villainous force that might be behind a plague. Check it out below.
Explore a corrupted world by soaring over sky-high castle tops and dashing across rivers and bluffs. Unleash fury on enemies hordes as they scale in difficulty and enchant weapons with powerful modifiers for catastrophic killings. Collect powerful loot and complete enough missions to gain access to bosses arena where the toughest of challenges await. Uncover the mystery behind the deadly plague taking over the realm and instill faith back to those who still remain.
TinyBuild press release
So what’d you think? Digging it? If so, you might want to get in on the play-test that started on March 8th. That is still taking place on Steam for the PC, with signups held via the game’s official Steam page. The roster for that test is currently full, however prospective fans can still “request access” for when that status changes.
As for the full retail release, VOIN is looking at launching for the PC some time later this year.
