Trailer: Ripout brings co-op play to space-based horror

Get your team together and prepare to meet some seriously messed-up monsters. Ripout is taking team-based play into the final frontier.

Rip… out

Ripout both looks and sounds like a big studio title, but it’s actually from indie studio Pet Project Games. Nevertheless, the title definitely has some polish to it.

It has a pretty interesting premise too, with short 10-20 minute procedurally-generated missions, scaling difficulty (based on how many teammates you have), and a huge emphasis on biotech. Both you and the monsters in Ripout can make use of adding to your arsenal with the parts of your foes. It’s a game to keep an eye on, for sure.

Ripout is set for release on the PC, via Steam, on February 1st, 2022.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
