Are you familiar with Antstream Arcade? A classic subscription gaming platform, Antstream Arcade has been around for a while, delivering some of the biggest games of all time to players. As of today though, a special edition of that experience has been extended to Game Pass subscribers.

Thanks to a deal between the platform, Xbox, Activision, and Blizzard, Retro Classics has arrived and it’s loaded for bear. Containing 50 games, the new collection is stacked with everything from golden age classics like PAC-MAN, Pitfall!, and Kaboom!, to the Super Star Wars console titles, and even PC games like Commando, Police Quest, and Mech Warrior 2.

The above are playable via Game Pass on the Xbox of course, plus the Xbox App on PC, and “supported LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices, and Meta Quest headsets”, via streaming.

“We’re thrilled to bring decades of iconic gaming to modern audiences and proud that Xbox trusted Antstream’s proprietary platform to make this possible,” said Steve Cottam, CEO of Antstream.

Antstream Arcade press release

While the new Retro Classics does come loaded with a good number of games, fans of Antstream know that it’s just a fraction of what the company can offer via an additional subscription fee. And to that end, Game Pass subscribers can subscribe to get that full Antstream Arcade experience at a special price.

For a limited time, game fans can sub up for $9.99 USD for the first year. As to what that’ll net you, that’d be access to “1300+ retro games”, according to the company.
