Sega reveals another Shinobi: Art of Vengeance stage with Neo City

It’s urban action and neon visuals in Neo City, the latest stage reveal for Sega’s upcoming Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.

To date, we’ve seen a decent amount of Sega’s upcoming Shinobi: Art of Vengeance in action. Classically styled, the side-scrolling action title will bring another of the publisher’s ‘lost’ properties back to life for the newest generation of platforms, with what will be its first installment in a long time.

From what we’ve seen thus far, its action should be just as familiar to fans as the game’s title is, but that’s not to say that it’ll be ‘retro’ in terms of looks.Shinobi: Art of Vengeance has so far looked pretty spectacular in action, and if you’re anything like us, then you’ve been itching to see more.

Don’t fret though, as Sega has you covered with a fresh look at an urban-themed stage that’ll be called Neo City. Expect to see tall buildings to climb, lots of semi-cyberpunk imagery, and naturally plenty of foes to carve up. This is Shinobi after all.

Fast, brutal, and colorful, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is looking as sharp as a katana. Along with the above look too, developer Lizardcube is pulling back the curtain a bit, to let fans see what the developmental process looks like. That came by way of another video released this week, called Behind the Studio.
