GSC Game World has announced S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone — Enhanced Edition is heading to consoles and the PC.
Gotta get in the zone
Not too long ago, first-person shooter fans saw S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy arrive for the Switch. That new collected edition featured all three of the classic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. titles, for the first time presenting them on Nintendo’s console. But if you thought PlayStation, Xbox, and PC fans were going to be left out of the irradiated fun, you might want to think again.
Developer GSC Game World just revealed today that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone — Enhanced Edition is on the way for those platforms, and it’ll host more than just a set of games. Along with Shadow of Chornobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Prypiat, the pack will offer a visual overhaul with enhanced lighting and 3D modeling for NPC’s, weapons, and environments. That’s not all though, as players can also look for mod support, pre-rendered cinematics delivered in 4K, and a greater field of vision when wielding one of the game’s weapons.
GSC Game World is thrilled to announce that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition will launch on May 20, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The iconic trilogy, comprising Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky(2008), and Call of Prypiat (2009), receives an overhaul with upgraded visuals, next-gen console optimizations, and expanded mod support.
