Sega and Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer III is expanding yet again, this time welcoming in a milestone too.
War, huh, what is it good for… strategy gaming!
Of all the Total War titles that’ve arrived over the years, few seem to do as well as the Warhammer entries. Playing of course off of the iconic tabletop titles of Games Workshop, the Total War sub-series revels in the brand’s dark fantasy elements, bringing over a mighty array of units, characters, stories, and settings. The latest DLC to be announced for Total War: Warhammer III continues that tradition, plus lands along with an update that hits a lofty milestone.
That, as you can see from the headline, is the addition of the game’s 100th Legendary Lord. Dubbed Omens of Destruction, the new downloadable-content centers on Khorne, the Ogre Kingdoms, and the fan-favorite Orcs & Goblins with a wicked group of new champions to field in combat.
Those include the vicious and demonic Skulltaker, Orc Warboss Gorbad, and the hideous Golgfag Maneater, an Ogre mercenary.
Here’s how the new champions break down:

GORBAD IRONCLAW, THE BRUTAL UNIFIER (ORCS & GOBLINS)

Don’t forget the free update
While the Omens of Destruction pack gets all the attention, there’s also a fresh update arriving as a part of Patch 6.0. It’s actually the part of the new set of arrivals that’ll include that 100th Legendary Lord we mentioned earlier too, with Arbaal the Undefeated, a champion of Khorne.
Coming free as part of Patch 6.0 will be Total War: WARHAMMER’s 100th Legendary Lord, Arbaal the Undefeated, the champion of Khorne who has seen thousands fall beneath the crimson arc of his axe. Alongside this, a faction update will arrive for the Ogre Kingdoms, Khorne and Orcs & Goblins.
Sega press release
Look for all of the above to arrive for Total War: Warhammer III, for the PC, on December 12th, 2024. Just a note too, as it looks like fans will have to grab Skulltaker, Gorbad, and Golgfag Maneater separately if they want to add them to their base copy of the game. From what we can see, there doesn’t appear to be a one-click ‘pack’ of any kind that’ll include all three.
