Men of War II finally gets its marching orders, arriving on PC next month

Strategy fans should get set to return to the fronts of WWII, as Fulqrum Publishing and developer Best Way’s Men of War II is coming up.

Men on the march

Originally scheduled to launch late last year, Men of War II has a new release date, and it’s right around the corner. From Fulqrum Publishing and developer Best Way, the real-time strategy title will bring genre fans a fight across Europe, as they wage war across a trio of campaigns, featuring the Soviets, Americans, and the Third Reich.

Best Way says that it took full advantage of the beta testing that was opened up last year, and has poured quite a bit of “extra labor” into Men of War II since. Check out the newest trailer below to get a look at the end result.

Men of War II will launch with three playable nations – Soviets, Americans, and the Third Reich – each with their own narrative campaign, as well as two further Historical campaigns, a dynamic Conquest campaign, and a skirmish-like Raid mode. All of the single-player content can also be played in co-op with up to five players, and the game offers extensive PvP and PvE multiplayer options, including ranked match-making for all three battle setups (Battalions, Combined Arms, and Classic Mode).

Fulqrum Publishing press release

Men of War II promises an “unprecedented number of units with different specializations to command”, as well as “advanced” enemy AI, and a high attention to detail, as goes “historical fidelity”. Packed along with all of that too, is a reported “plethora of customizable gameplay options and modes”. If that’s all accurate, this should be a WWII title that buffs and strategy fans won’t want to miss.

Loads up with both single and multiplay, Men of War II hits the PC for Steam, Epic, and “other digital stores” on May 15th, 2024.
