There is a lot that goes into sound design for video games. If you don’t know just how much, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II’s latest Intel Drop encapsulates the process.

While the video isn’t all that long, this series is a set of quick-hit vid’s after all, it is pretty informative. Included is a look at the action of designing a video game’s various sound effects, and also a tease of Modern Warfare II’s new and improved “3D directionality”.

The above is just the third in an ongoing series of Intel Drops, so expect to see a few more before the game officially arrives. That’s something that will be happening for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, and the PC, on October 28th, 2022.
