PS+ adds Hood, Slay the Spire, and a Bikini Bottom this April

While everybody is talking about the new PS+, the old PS+ is still rolling along on the PS4 and 5. And that means a new trio of ‘freebies’.

The ‘plus’ is in the… Plus

There’s a niche reference for you. Anyway, we’ve got some free PlayStation titles to talk up here. Well, they’re free if you’re a subscriber. And that’s not really free-free, but you get the gist.

In any event, this month’s Plus offerings are overshadowed a bit, by the impending changes to the system that are coming. Cheers to you if you got in on the PS NOW gift card thing this weekend by the way. If you didn’t, it’s pretty much dried up completely, so don’t bother.

Nevertheless, there are some decent titles on offer, and they include Hood. A multiplayer co-op title that’s still very much being supported, Hood casts players as “Robin Hood”-type characters in medieval England. Robbing and assaulting is the name of the game, as you attack the King’s stores in this one.

Past that, there’s also Slay the Spire, which is a… deck… builder. Oh. Anyway, there’s also SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom. And with the amount of fans that somehow still exist for the title character, that should be a nice draw.

Info is below, and don’t forget to hit the link at the end if you want to read up a bit more on the games at hand.
