Warhammer: Chaosbane gets surprise 5th hero – the Dwarf engineer Keela

Warhammer: Chaosbane is getting a fifth character in the impressive looking Dwarf engineer, but that’s not all as a new area is coming too.

Engineering an expansion

Now this is a nice little surprise… or is it? I can’t remember NACON and Eko Software announcing this expansion for Warhammer: Chaosbane, so it’s a surprise to me at any rate.

It’s looking to be a meaty addition to the base game too, with the awesome Dwarf engineer Keela. She’s something you don’t see every day all by herself. I mean, when was the last time you saw a Dwarf woman featured in, well any fantasy story anywhere?

And not only is she a somewhat fresh take on a character type, but she’s looking like she could be a really fun character to play, with her traps, pistol/warhammer combo, and flamethrower.

Keela is a dwarf engineer. The combination of her skills in engineering, hydraulics, explosives and alchemy make her a fearsome opponent. In hand-to-hand combat, Keela deals heavy damage with a war hammer of her own design. She’s also capable of inflicting short and medium-range damage with her hand weapons.Players will get the most out of this character by combining her various skills.

Keela isn’t the lone addition to the world of Chaosbane either. Also coming up are The Forges. This new level adds a new place to play in, as well as a new story to play through.
