A monster of an expansion is coming to Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II. A beast of a Chaos campaign, with all the bells and whistles arrives Monday.
For the dark gods
This is pretty rare, as Warhammer 40k games go. But nevertheless, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II is giving players the chance to play as the vicious forces of Chaos.
Not a whole lot to go on in that teaser, but if you played the main campaign that Armada II offers then you already know what to expect. The game centers on real-time space battles, with familiar RTS controls and some excellent graphics.
And now, there’s a whole second campaign to play through. The new Chaos expansion plays as a ‘what if’ scenario to the main game. It will offer “dozens of hours of new content, a whole new story, new missions, new campaign mechanics and much more.”
The best part? It’s free. As long as you own Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II, you can download this new campaign at no extra cost. So if you’ve played Armada II to death by now, you’ve got what almost amounts to a brand new sequel to dig into.
