Jade debuts in new Mortal Kombat 11 trailer

Reveals are still coming for Mortal Kombat 11, and pretty rapid fire too. This week we got a look at classic kombatant Jade.

Jade returns

After being on the sidelines for MKX, the fan favorite female ninja known as Jade returns for the 11th outing of the Mortal Kombat series. And much like everyone else on the roster, she’s looking as blood-soaked as ever.

Overall, Jade looks like a lightning quick fighter here in this first look. Not that that’s all she’s got, since it certainly seems like she’s packing some devastating moves as well. And I mean that in more ways than one, as they look just as fierce as the damage they inflict on her targets. More than just over the top gore too, there’s even a little humor to this character… as dark as it might be.

By that, I mean the Fatality for Jade. It kind of seems like she made a pole-dancing corpse out of poor Baraka. That’s both terribly gruesome and yet oddly funny all at once.

The reveals are hitting pretty fast now, with Baraka, Kabal, Scarlett, and now Jade all getting intro trailers in short order. There’s a reason for that of course, since MK11’s launch is not all that far off.

Mortal Kombat begins again with NetherRealm’s latest arriving at retail for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on April 23rd.
