Mario + Rabbids Donkey Kong content has arrived

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle’s adventure spills onto Donkey Kong’s island. Team up with two new heroes for a brand new quest against Rabbid-Kong.

I’m kind of sold on this one already, since I loved Mario + Rabbids when it hit the Switch last year. Just in case you didn’t play it, the game adds turn-based strategy to the Mushroom Kingdom, in a mashup with Ubisoft’s Rabbids (of Rayman fame). It’s tons of fun, even if you’re not all that into turn-based stuff. And this update adds in even more of the good stuff.

A fresh quest highlights the pack, as the Rabbids have invaded Donkey Kong’s island. There are also two new heroes, including the main ape himself and Rabbid Cranky. He, of course, is a Rabbid riff on the original DK – Cranky Kong.

A total of four new environments will be available to play through, on our trip to face the big bad. That would be Rabbid Kong by the way, who looks very at home on DK’s turf. The content is available right now for the Nintendo Switch, as long as you have a copy of the original game.

The pack is a part of the Season Pass for Mario + Rabbids, and is also available for purchase seperately.
