Battlefield 1 is still raging through its slate of DLC, and EA has taken the wraps off of the upcoming Turning Tides.
Who can turn the tide?
Battlefield 1! Doesn’t have the same ring, does it? While it might not be as sing-songy as that famous 80s cartoon, Battlefield 1 does have something else – more DLC.
Yes, it’s been available for almost a year, but EA is still supporting B1 with fresh downloadables. The latest pack is dubbed Turning Tides, and has been detailed a bit this week. It’s not available as of yet, but here’s some of what’s included:
- 4 all new maps
- 6 new weapons
- Infiltrator Elite Class
- L-Class Destroyer
- C-Class Airship
- new epic Operation
Then there’s Conquest Assault, Battlefield’s new mode. In CA, gamers will get a twist on the usual Conquest, as “attackers and defenders fight over key areas, exclusively controlled by the defending team as the match starts. ” So it’s a bit different than you might be used to.
That’s some of what’s on the way, but not all. Depending on how much stuff is left to reveal, that could mean this could be one monster-sized pack of DLC. With almost a year under its belt, Battlefield 1 is looking to offer gamers who’ve stuck with it plenty to get through another December.
Coincidently, that’s exactly when Turning Tide is set to hit.
