Valiant Comics’ big event series for Summer 2015, Book of Death is all about the Geomancer that traveled back in time from the new dark age last seen in The Valiant. Since she’s from a time in the distant future, she basically knows everything about what’s to come in Valiant’s world. And that includes how all the biggest heroes (and villains) meet their end.
Things kick off with issue #1 (of 4) of the main Book of Death miniseries on July 15th, and then spill over into a series of one-shots that’ll tell the final tales of a bunch of the Valiant U’s heaviest hitters, including Bloodshot here.
How do you kill an unkillable, nanite-powered machine? Grab Book of Death: The Fall of Bloodshot #1, by Jeff Lemire and Doug Braithwaite, this July to find out. Maybe. I’m still not sold on the fact that he can be killed at all, so we’ll see.
