The Battle of the Games returns to GOG.com

Vote for your favorites and get a massive discount on the winning trio… and the losing too actually. Kind of a win-win.

GOG.com is kind f already famous for their excellent deals on games of both the new and classic variety, but the latest sale is pushing it even for them. Basically, here’s how it shakes out: you vote for your favorite three games (they’re broken up into sets) and whichever trio nabs the most votes gets the bigger discount the following day on the site.

The discount is a ridiculous 75% off the usual ticked price too, so these are monster deals we’re talking about here. And like I mentioned above, the losers don’t really fare all that badly either as they’ll be getting an almost as great 60% off. That’s probably more than you’d see from most other retailers in and of itself.

Voting starts at 11am GMT each day and the special pricing for the chosen and runner-up games will last 24 hours. Currently, you can grab Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament, and Unreal II for $2.49 USD each and Chaser, Red Faction, and Red Faction II for $3.99 USD each. Not too shabby which ever way you go. The Battle of the Games will rage uncontrolled till  April 21, 9:59am GMT; get on board here.
