Injustice: Gods Among Us ‘History of Zatanna’ trailer released

Check out the history of the DCU’s mistress of magic in the trailer for the newest DLC character- Zatanna.

A second generation magician and a master of trickery known for her clever escapes and summons executed by speaking backwards, Zatanna is certainly a force to be reckoned with in the futuristic world of Injustice: Gods Among Us.

A member of the Justice League Dark, Zatanna is really a force to be reckoned with in the current ‘post Flashpoint’ DC Universe; not that she wasn’t before. As the trailer shows, Zatanna was always a pretty powerful hero in her own right, she was just way more of an outskirts character than she is now.

It’s also pretty great to see the likes of her and Martian Manhunter (who dropped into Injustice a short time ago) start to emerge in NetherRealm’s fighter. The developer played it a bit safer with the first round of downloadable content with characters like Batgirl, Scorpion and General Zod – though we did get Lobo.

The Main Man aside though, set number 2 of the DLC has already proven to be way more interesting with Martian Manhunter and now Zatanna. It should be interesting to see where developer NetherRealm goes from here.

Zatanna is available right now for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of  Injustice: Gods Among Us for 400 MS Points and $4.99 respectively.
