The Flash: The Complete Seventh Season speeding home for August 12th

Looking to round out your summer with some DC Comics super-heroics? Then you’ll be happy to know that The Flash Season 7 is almost here.

Fastest man alive

Speeding right along, is the CW’s The Flash show, which is about to zoom into season 8. But before we get to that, there’s the home video release of season 7 to talk about.

If you didn’t watch that as it was aired, it was a season loaded up with more of what you’d expect. It also offered up a cliffhanger of an ending, that leads right into the upcoming season 8.

After last season’s cliffhanger which saw the brilliant and powerful Eva McCulloch victorious and still-at-large in Central City, Barry Allen/The Flash must regroup in order to stop her and bring back his missing wife. With help from the rest of Team Flash, Barry will ultimately defeat Mirror Monarch and reunite with Iris West-Allen. But in doing so, he’ll unleash two more devastating threats: one that could tear his marriage apart… and another that will lay siege to Central City and change the future forever.

Warner Bros

All 18 episodes from the season will be included in the new set, which will of course also be beefed up with a number of extras. Expect deleted scenes, a gag reel, the 2020 DC FanDome presentation for the show, as well as the featurettes The Journey Ends: Carlos and Tom and Never Alone: Heroes and Allies.

Ready to run again? The Flash: The Seventh Season is speeding onto DVD and Blu Ray, which also includes a digital copy, on October 12th.
