DST and Disney Store launch Star Wars Select action figure line

There’s a new series of Star Wars action figures out there for collectors to buy into, and it’s from Diamond Select Toys. Say ‘hi’ to Star Wars Select.

Always two, there are

Yes, another line of Star Wars action figures, and it’s not 3.75″ or 6″ scales. This brand new series of figures is an entirely fresh 7″ line from Diamond Select Toys, dubbed (what else?) Star Wars Select.

DST say that they’ve heard fans, who’ve been asking for a larger scale of Star Wars figure, and this is the result. If the initial wave is anything to go by, the company could have another hit. And oh my is it kicking off with a bang.

The first pair of figures shipping out will be none other than Boba Fett and Darth Maul. Have a peek in the gallery below.

Boba Fett, the galaxy’s most famous bounty hunter, is packed with accessories, including a blaster, blast effect, flamethrower effect, twin jet thruster effects and alternate hands. Darth Maul, one of history’s deadliest Sith Lords, wields a twin-bladed lightsaber with removable blades, twirling blades and a removable connector peg for double lightsaber action, and also includes alternate hands and a deflecting laser effect.

Both figures come packaged in the famous, display-ready Select action figure packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference.

Diamond Select press release

Both figures are up for order right now, exclusively via shopdisney.com. Each is priced in at $24.99 USD, and limited to 2 per customer. Given the recent nightmare that orders and pre-orders have been across the boards with action figures, that’s a nice thing to see.
