Marvel talks tie-ins, teases massive Thor v Knull brawl for King in Black

King in Black is setting the Marvel U up for a big kick off to 2021, as the crossover event loads up with tie-ins and a fight that’ll shake the heavens.

The King has arrived

We showed off a bit of Marvel’s King in Black just the other day, but the comic book giant is talking quite a bit more about the event today. Basically, January is going to be King-heavy, with plenty of crossovers.

That should be expected, since comics fans in general have come to expect that from these kinds of event-series’. King won’t be any different than what’s come before in that way, as books like Daredevil, Deadpool and more will all see the main story affect their runs.

Additionally, Marvel will have a set of special one-shots out there. Those will focus on particular characters, and how they take the fight to the god of the symbiotes. Among others, expect Black Knight to draw his Ebony Blade once again, and Ghost Spider to don her own slime-suit.

Want more? Yeah, well that’d be King in Black #3. In that issue, from Venom team Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman, Knull battles none other than the thunder god himself – Thor. That’s going to be one to watch.

Here’s your checklist of all the King in Black tie-ins for January 2021:

  • KING IN BLACK #3 (OF 5)
  • KING IN BLACK: PLANET OF THE SYMBIOTES #1 (OF 3)
  • KING IN BLACK: RETURN OF THE VALKYRIES #1 (OF 4)
