Online exclusive Udon x Capcom Sketchbook up for pre-order

The biggest name in gaming art books is back at it, with the Udon x Capcom Sketchbook Alpha, coming up this June and ready for pre-order now.

Crossing up

If you love art books and video games, then you’re probably familiar with Udon. The publisher is into all kinds of things, including comics, but they’ve made a name for themselves with their art books. In particular, their Capcom-flavored art books.

Their latest is called the Udon x Capcom Sketchbook Alpha, and crosses the publisher’s stable of artists with the gaming brand. The result is 48 pages of art, bound into a comic book formatted issue (6.5 x 10.25″).

The book will include names like:

  • Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz
  • Edwin Huang
  • Rob “Robaato” Porter
  • Alvin Lee
  • Omar Dogan

This special sketchbook is available exclusively through UDON’s online shop, and can’t be found anywhere else! Featuring 2 fully illustrated covers by Omar Dogan, fans can choose their favorite – Street Fighter’s Chun-Li or Darkstalkers’ Morrigan – OR connect these covers to form a single image of the two femme fighters locked in video game combat! For those that want to join in on the sketch action, a blank sketch cover edition is also available.

Udon

As mentioned, the book is set to be available only through Udon’s online shop. It’s set to ship out this June and will run you $30. Alternatively, there’s also a double pack that includes covers A+B for $50.
