Transformers: Devastation goes behind the scenes with the dev team

Get a look at the thought that went into the latest video game translation of the classic Transformers franchise.

Man that Prime voice of Peter Cullen’s never gets old. Like, ever.

And as far as being faithful to the show where that voice first was unleashed upon the world, Devastation looks about as good as it gets. A radical departure from the Cybertron series of games, Devastation is the purest homage to the cartoon that gaming has ever seen.

It’s always interesting to hear what goes into the creation of something like this too, so it’s neat to hear how Platinum Games and Activision looked at the legacy behind the game, and tried to get every little detail right- even down to the shine on the Autobots chromed skin. Looking on as a fan of the property myself, it’s nice to see something that looks so ridiculously authentic.

Find out if the game matches the pre-release buzz when Transformers: Devastation rolls out onto consoles (current and last-gen) and the PC on October 6th.
