Bayonetta 2 Nintendo Direct

Nintendo’s Bayonetta 2 focused Nintendo Direct has has been posted today, it highlights various traditional and new aspects of the game.

In the trailers we can see returning characters like Rodin, Enzo, and even Luka. Bayonetta also sports a fancy new white outfit, she looks like she belongs on a runway when wearing it. New weapons are also presented in this Direct, such as the giant hammer named takemikazuchi and the bow named Kafka. Returning items like Kulshedra also make an appearance. A new co-op mode called tag-climax is included in the game, which allows players to fight alongside each other online. They’ll be competing for score, but help each other battle out a slew of enemies and even bosses in 6 different stages.

What looks like Balder emerges in the trailer, but it’s not all that clear; he could just look very similar to him. The new costumes are showcased yet again, only with the latest ones being revealed, like the Star Fox and Daisy outfits. The Star Fox alt is pretty cool, you can fire charged shots just like you would in the Arwing. Bayonetta 1 and 2 will be sold at a discount separately on the eshop, together for retail the total cost will be sixty dollars. The game will be arriving in stores and on the Nintendo eshop October 24th, 2014.
