The Last of Us infecting comic shops today

Dark Horse Comics prequel miniseries for developer Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic epic has shipped a little early. Like today early.

The change moved the release date for the book moved up by a full two weeks and gives fans a look at the post-pandemic world of The Last of Us and one of the stars of the game – Ellie.

Ellie is a 13 year old girl in a world that has no time for anything other than survival anymore. A pandemic has encircled the globe, infecting humans and mutating them into hideously deformed, insane killers. It’s not the end of all life on Earth, but a stark change from all that’s come before.

The Last of Us: American Dream follows Ellie before the upcoming game’s events. She’s sent to a military boarding school and finds fitting into the harsh and unforgiving world therein… difficult. About Jason

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
