Get ready for the Master of Orion reboot with the first dev diary

You might know developer Wargaming best as the creator of World of Tanks, but they were a strategy company first, and their reboot of classic PC title Master of Orion is looking like a fantastic return to their roots.

Master of Orion (or MoO) aways seemed more than a little daunting to get into for me. When the original was released way back in 1993 I was way more of an action gamer, though that’s changed some. And I have to admit that I love the way this reboot is shaking out.

As you can see in the developer diary above too, Wargaming is pulling out as many stops as is humanly possible. And though the original is a true classic of the 4x genre, this one will have all the trappings of a modern game, visually and aurally.

No release date just yet for the new Master of Orion, but you can keep up with the revamp by clicking here.
