One of Marvel Comics’ evil Star Wars droids gets an unboxing from Sideshow

Ripped from the pages of Marvel Comics’ Doctor Aphra is BT-1, a wicked little droid that’s the latest figure in Hot Toys’ Star Wars line.

Careful unboxing this one

As Star Wars comics fans know well, 0-0-0 and BT-1 are two of the straight up nastiest droids in the galaxy. The pair spun out of Marvel Comics’ Doctor Aphra series, and are effectively an evil C-3PO and R2-D2, outfitted with weaponry and torture devices. Those aren’t just for show either, as the pair does enjoy their work.

Now both are joining Hot Toys’ Star Wars collector figure lineup, and BT-1 has a brand new unboxing to go along with his arrival. The little astromech is outfitted with all his signature weaponry, as well as a retractible third leg, and 7 points of articulation. He’s also sporting that unique color scheme for a droid of his type, perfectly reflecting the automaton’s darker nature.

Check out this lates look, as retailer Sideshow details just what fans will find in the box.
