Ready to rock and roll on the newest battlefields of WWII? While the game’s still a ways off, Company of Heroes 3 has a multiplayer tech test ready now.
The tech of war
A long time coming, Relic’s latest Company of Heroes title is closing in on a release this year. When the strategy sequel hits, it’ll be for both consoles and the PC, and serve up a fresh dose of real-time strategic action on the fronts of the second Great War.
But before we get to that, way before, there’s a chance to indulge in a little bit of the game’s multiplayer warfare. Word of that comes today, as Sega and Relic have revealed that a “tech test” is ready to roll… right now.
That’s exactly what it sounds like, and will allow gamers to play CoH3, while also making sure the title’s multiplayer will be up to snuff for launch.
Relic Entertainment™, Inc. and SEGA Europe Limited are excited to reveal that players are getting a final chance to play Company of Heroes 3 before its launch on Steam on February 23rd, 2023. Eager strategy fans can head over to Steam right now and participate in the Multiplayer Tech Test – helping Relic prepare for launch by testing its servers and infrastructure on a large scale.
Sega press release
The test is live now, exclusively for the PC, and will run through January 16th, when it closes at 1pm eastern time. Wanna dig in? Well, head right over to the game’s Steam listing to play. Yep, that’s it. Seemingly no hoops or anything.
