The dark clone of Jean Grey, Madelyn Pryor is back. Hitting the pages of Hellions this March, the villain is set to cause a little trouble in paradise.
Inferno
One of the coolest (pardon the term) crossover events in X-Men history, Inferno saw none other than the Goblin Queen take center stage. Madelyn Pryor’s origin is a long and somewhat convoluted one, though she’s basically a clone of Jean Grey.
Created by Mister Sinister in order to effectively take Jean’s place when she seemingly died in the Dark Phoenix Saga, Pryor ended up getting massive power via demonic means. That led into the crossover event, and her eventual death. Or not.
Marvel is bringing the villain back, and will see her starring in a story this March. While details are non-existent at the moment, The Goblin Queen will be wreaking some havoc on the mutant island nation of Krakoa, in the pages of Hellions.
If you’re a current fan, then you know that that particular X-team shockingly counts Mister Sinister as a member. So of course, Pryor will be targeting them, since she’s no fan of the former (?) villain.
As for the creatives, Zeb Willis and Stephen Segovia will be bringing the story to life. Could this be the beginning of Krakoa’s unraveling?
