Power A is the first company to jump and release a look at what’ll be on shelves for the Nintendo Switch launch.
Power A hits the Switch
Carrying pouches, controller add-ons… yep, it’s a new console launch alright. And we can probably expect double the offerings, since the Switch is two consoles in one really. Starting us off? Power A and a nice little selection of what’s to come.
One of the first things that you’re likely to want to pick up, is some kind of controller accessory to make those Joy-Con a little less… uncomfortable. Power A has you covered there with the Comfort Grip.
The Joy-Con Comfort Grip has double-injected rubber grips that provide a more comfortable, traditional controller-like experience for the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers. The easy slide-in design secures each Joy-Con controller while providing visible player indicator lights. The Joy-Con Comfort Grip will be available for $14.99 MSRP.
And while we’re on the subject, there’s a pretty nice charging station on the way for the Joy-Con as well. Personally, I didn’t even think of that, but there’s seemingly nowhere on the dock for the Joy-Con to charge, so unless you like having cables dangling all over the place, you might need one of these. The Joy-Con Charging Dock will be priced in at $29.99 USD.
Then there’s the stuff that you probably really don’t need, but you’re going to want anyway.
Power A will have a Hybrid Cover for the Switch itself available for $24.99 USD. It’ll have magnetic closures and be able to flip out into a stand for the little console’s table mode.
And lastly, the company will have the Everywhere Messenger Bag for $29.99 USD. That’s not a bad price at all for something like this, as the bag will have compartments for all your Switch stuff, and a detachable pouch for the Switch’s handheld mode. Nifty.
Expect to see all of the above in stores this March. So, what’re you getting?
