Less a trailer for the game, and more a live-action video for the story behind Dishonored 2, this new trailer is nonetheless pretty freaking awesome.
Time to take back what’s yours
If nothing else, this little trailer makes me want a live-action Dishonored flick. Even with the production values present, which aren’t terrible by any means, the game looks like it’d make a great transition to the realm of film. Both Corvo and Emily’s powers come off cool, and I can’t get enough of that mask. I’d take even a SyFy movie with either of them (or preferably both).
As far as the actual game goes, well, I’m sure you’re well aware of what Dishonored 2 is packing. With a pair of playable characters, and all new powers, and areas to explore in a story that looks like it ups the ante on the original, it’s looking sharp as Corvo’s sword. though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the actual game, I loved everything about the aesthetic and characters that Arkane Studios crafted for the original Dishonored.
So I’m kind of looking at the sequel as a fresh jumping on point for me. Honestly, I’m pretty pumped for it. And this ‘trailer’ is just amping me up even more. Hitting the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Dishonored 2 arrives on November 11th.
