The farewell tour for John Cena comes to WWE 2K25

It’s the end of the road. WWE 2K25 is set to celebrate the last run for John Cena in style, with a special pack and new edition.

You can’t see him (for much longer)

It isn’t every day that you see a game that’s been out for a while, get a new edition. That’s just what’s happening though, for WWE 2K25, and it’s all in celebration of John Cena. The latest installment of 2K and Visual Concepts’ wrestling series, WWE 2K25 is taking part in the superstar’s farewell tour, and in a big way.

With the wrestler about to ride off into the sunset (read: Hollywood), the game has debuted the WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Edition. The fresh version includes the Farewell Tour Edition Pack, which is also available as separate DLC, and is out now for the “PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch™ 2.*”

Included are alternate versions of Cena, as well as cosmetics, along with Brock Lesnar and Ron Cena. That latter character would be R-Truth in his Cena-themed gear, for those who aren’t familiar.

There are four playable Superstars in the Farewell Tour Edition Pack. Two new versions of John Cena himself include the WrestleMania 41 version, as well as the throwback Dr. of Thuganomicspersona that first established Cena as a Superstar on the verge of greatness. One of Cena’s most persistent and powerful rivals throughout the course of his career, Brock Lesnar makes his return to the WWE 2K franchise with an updated look, including cowboy hat and long hair. Making his WWE 2K franchise debut, the Ron Cena persona of R-Truth, as seen on Saturday Night’s Main Event in tribute to his “childhood hero,” dons a familiar red tee shirt and baseball cap, with a Cena-inspired moveset to match. Five Farewell Tour tee shirt cosmetic items round out the contents of the pack.

That’s not all though, as the downloadable content itself, the Farewell Tour Edition Pack, is also included in the all-encompassing Bloodline Edition of the game. And finally, there’s a’la carte.
