Reflecting his high-tech and armored look from Batman: Arkham Knight will be Hot Toys’ Nightwing figure, as the hero takes flight in 2026.
From Gotham to Blüdhaven
Warner Bros and Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight might have released in 2015, but the impact of the trilogy-capping action title is still well apparent. The designs from the game pop up fairly regularly after all, and part of why is collectible company Hot Toys. The high-end figure maker has been producing some stellar pieces from the game, in a line that’s about to expand with Nightwing.
Formerly the first Robin, Bruce Wayne’s adopted son Dick Grayson eventually broke away from the shadow of the bat, and struck out on his own as Nightwing. At first patrolling Gotham, he eventually made his home as the protector of Blüdhaven, which might be an even worse place to live than Batman’s turf. The events of Batman: Arkham Knight brought him back home though, and that’s the version that we’re seeing as the latest addition to Hot Toys’ “video game masterpiece collection”.
Just a heads up, before you read through the description from Sideshow, as Nightwing will be an exclusive for the retailer in the US. A small amount will be heading to “select” Hot Toys Official Stores as well, though only 2000 pieces will be produced globally.
The Nightwing 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure is inspired by the character’s appearance in the Batman: Arkham Knight video game, and features a newly developed and hand-painted masked headsculpt. Nightwing’s costume is also faithfully recreated down to the tiniest detail, with a meticulously tailored suit, accented with metallic blue armor elements, a utility belt with pouches, and black boots.
The Nightwing 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure comes equipped with his signature weapons and accessories, including two Escrima Sticks (with extension parts), and a Grapnel Gun with attachable grappling hook and wire. A translucent blue lightning effect accessory is also included, attaching to the Escrima Sticks for an electrifying display. Nine interchangeable hands are included to enable fans and collectors to recreate a variety of poses from the game — from intense combat to stealthy surveillance.
This deluxe collectible action figure is limited to only 2,000 units worldwide, and available exclusively via Sideshow, with low quantities available at select Hot Toys Official Stores internationally.
