A fantasy mainstay, the time of the Dark Elves is nigh in Spellforce: Conquest of Eo, with the arrival of the Children of Nor DLC.

While they’re probably still looked at as a kind of ‘newer’ fantasy race, the Dark Elves have been around for a long time in the genre. This week, the Spellforce universe welcomes them to the forefront, with Children of Nor, the newest downloadable content for developer Gravity’s Spellforce: Conquest of Eo.
A whole new faction for play in the turn-based strategy game, the Dark Elves stock both unique units and abilities. Among the former, players can look for magic-casters yes, but also the deadly Blademasters and Raptor Riders. They come along with the ability to enact deadly poisons, as well as the species’ predilection for summoning.
Even that’s not all though, as a new crafting archetype is included with the pack as well, in the Astromancer. And yes, that’s exactly what it sounds like.
In Children of Nor, the mystical realm of Eo faces a new threat – or opportunity – as the enigmatic Dark Elves rise from the shadows. This cunning new faction brings eight unique units to the battlefield, including Raptor Riders, Witches, Blademasters and Warlocks. With their affinity for poison and summoning, the Dark Elves open up fresh strategic possibilities for aspiring mages and warlords.
But the stars have more in store. Introducing the Astromancer, a powerful new crafting archetype. Players who choose this path will harness the energies of the cosmos itself: harvest and infuse magical gems with cosmic energies, then use them to forge intricate star maps that bend the forces of fate to their will. These celestial constructs offer powerful bonuses, alter the very fabric of the world and unlock hidden truths scattered across the stars. Send out your stargazing minions across the realm to discover new constellations and use the astral powers they grant.

Spellforce: Conquest of Eo – Children of Nor is available now for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Obviously, you will need the base game to buy into this new pack, and that’s naturally also available for all of the above platforms.
