Fans are going to have to wait a little longer to battle through the beginnings of Hydra as Captain America and the Black Panther.
Cut off one head… and the game gets delayed
It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything of substance about Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. Announced back in 2022, the action title debuted with a teaser trailer (that’s since vanished) at D23, and then promptly went dark. Although it’s been a few years in the interim too, really nothing else has been shown or even mentioned concerning it. That’s to say, excepting a tentative release window.
Apparently (and wee have to say that, because we totally lost track of this game) that planned launch was this year, with publisher Skydance targeting this coming Christmas season. Unfortunately though, that will not come to pass, as a delay has officially been issued as of today, pushing the Marvel-fueled, WWII adventure into next year.
For its part, Skydance says that the extra development time will be used to polish up Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, and follows that up with a promise to share more soon. So stay tuned true-believers.
