Pulling inspiration from real-world ghost stories, The Cecil: The Journey Begins opens up a world of supernatural frights on PC.
Enjoy your stay
For those not in the know, The Cecil is a very real place. And while The Cecil: The Journey Begins doesn’t sound like it adapts any of the real-world tales of untimely demises and spectral roamings, it definitely keeps with the theme of the Los Angeles hotel.
From Genie Interactive Games, The Cecil: The Journey Begins puts players in the shoes of a guest whose romantic getaway just went south. Way south.
In The Cecil: The Journey Begins, players step into the shoes of John, a hotel guest on a romantic getaway gone horribly wrong. After waking up in a dark cell, John discovers his wife Sarah has vanished, and there are other, incomprehensible guests here, who are not welcome. He must navigate the hotel’s decaying halls, unraveling twisted puzzles and facing unspeakable terrors to uncover the truth, find Sarah… and maybe, escape.
