It’s a Dream matchup, with Shrek, Megamind, the Kung-Fu Panda, and more all hitting the track for a new kart racer.
OMG he’s back
Yes, the long national nightmare is over and Shrek is officially back. Well he is at least when it comes to kart racing, as the big green ogre is taking the wheel along with other animated luminaries for the all-new DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing.
The game arrived late last week, and serves up 20 fan-favorite characters with matching karts, plus courses based on a bunch of those heroes and villains disparate worlds. Each of those features a lil’ old fashioned Dreamworks magic too, with secret switches to uncover that reveal new paths for racers to take advantage of.
Modes include Free Race, Cups, Challenge, or Time Trial, and fans can team up with the singin’ Trolls, who’ll deliver power-ups and “special surprises”. All of that is plus both 8 player online, and 4 player split-screen action.
Twenty of DreamWorks Animation’s biggest legends take the wheel in DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing! Players will shift, drift and jump at high speeds across a variety of imaginative tracks inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s collection of fan-favorite films. They can blaze past the competition in fun and hilarious action for players of all ages featuring solo, online multiplayer, and local split-screen game modes.
