Polish developers Starward Industries have released their official environment trailer for their upcoming release, Invincible. Based on the novel of the same name by Polish science fiction luminary Stanislaw Lem, Invincible is a first person game with aesthetics inspired by fifties-era sci-fi films such as Forbidden Planet or Destination moon.

On the surface, it all seems so simple. And yet, this corner of the cosmos and the secrets associated with it irreversibly affect the perception of yourself and of the entire human species. You are faced with unusual choices, and you have to deal with their consequences. If you make it back, nothing will ever be the same for you.
The trailer reveals a barren planet, seemingly devoid of life…at first. When that notion is disabused, however, the implication is that what life there does exist on Regis III is anything but friendly.
The Invincible is coming out on GOG, Steam, and Epic Games in 2023.
