Trailer: Homicidal All-Stars brings dystopian turn-based action to Steam Next Fest

You’ll be able to go hands on with Good Shepherd Entertainment and developer Artificer’s Homicidal All-Stars next week via Next Fest.

Think “Running Man”

In a future society torn apart by extreme income inequality, climate change, and civil unrest, Homicidal All-Stars is a hugely popular bloodsport where hopefuls compete to survive in deadly urban arenas packed with lethal hazards and heavily armed combatants. Every broadcast delivers a hellish new obstacle course with a distinct theme and challenges – outwit traps and ambushes, explore for helpful sponsorship packages, and be on guard for especially devious surprises from the show’s director. Crush your enemies, win the crowd’s favor, and you could be the next champion on Homicidal All-Stars!

Good Shepard Entertainment press release

Homicidal All-Stars is a game to keep an eye on, whether you’re a fan of the turn-based genre or classic 80s films. You don’t see too many games that take advantage of that aesthetic, and if the gameplay works, it could be a ton of fun. Maybe even as fun as the trailer above.

There’s no release date as of yet for the PC game, but as mentioned you’ll be able to play it anyway next week. That’s thanks to Steam’s look-forward, Next Fest. The event will see a playable demo of Homicidal All-Stars hit the platform, downloadable from October 3rd through the 10th.
