The only thing they fear… is you. Get ready for more of Doom’s visceral action, and a brand new ‘holy crap’ moment in this new trailer.
Force of nature
Earth is lost, the moon shattered, and hell is running amok.
That’s right, the new trailer for Bethesda’s Doom sequel is finally here, and it has quite a few big revelations and questions in it. Namely, those include queries about who those kinda-sorta angels are, who that demon version of the Slayer is, and just what the heck the Doom Slayer himself actually is.
Oh, and there’s quite the awesome moment to close things out. Check it out below.
So right there we got a peek at “brand-new enemies like the Marauder and the Gladiator”, and saw a glory kill unlike any other that involved the new sword. Also, was that a Masters of the Universe moment at the end there? Yeah that was awesome.
While I was bummed out when Doom Eternal got the bump from 2019 into 2020, I’ve gotta say it’s looking awesome now. If you’re a fan of the franchise, or just the 2016 reboot, there isn’t much to dislike.
Fortunately, there isn’t long to wait either, since Doom Eternal is set to deliver the demon-ripping goods on March 20th, 2020. Watch for it on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. There’s still a Switch version coming up too, but at a later (unrevealed) date.
